Bent Pine Trail in Sheldon Lake State Park

Among the numerous short trails in the Sheldon Lake State Recreation area the Bent Pine Trail is interesting. This trail has been named such because of this pine tree which got bent due to another tree falling on it and grew in a bent fashion as seen. This unique tree lends its physical feature to the name of this trail.
