Cars Cops Fear

In America your status in life is determined by the car you own, the house you live in and the clothes you wear. It doesn't matter if you are eye deep in debt, so long as you pay the minimum amount due on your credit card nobody bothers you. Miss a payment and everyone is after you to recover their debt and you will be on a downward spiral.

I found this article/ slide show titled Cars Cops Fear interesting. Cops in America have good cars and nice motorcycles but like in India their cars are simply not fast enough to out run some of the cars that fly on the roads here. At least cop cars here can out run most cars. The slide show lists a fleet of four wheelers that could easily outrun the fuzz. But in America it is not easy to run with these cars also, simply because not many people own them and cops will trace out the owner and ticket them.

Road to California

I visited California in 2008 soon after coming to the US. At that time I didn't know much about this country, society, culture or politics. I fancied myself to be a tourist and tried to enjoy my visit. Roads in the US are great marvels by themselves. I enjoy taking pictures of the road, specially when it is a scenic route linking mountains or runs along the sea shore. As we drove through the mountains towards the Bay Area or Silicon Valley, I captured some of the road views from the moving car. '

Beautify your Trucks this summer!!!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of RealTruck.Com. All opinions are 100% mine.

Truck-accessories I love trucks, though I am yet to own one. I have noticed that trucks, like motorcycles are enjoyed more during summer. Probably because people here love to spend more time outdoors during the sunny summer months. This is also the time when the trucks and cars start getting makeovers. Enthusiastic truck owners work on their trucks and enhance both the beauty as well as power of the vehicle. New paint jobs are commissioned, different truck accessories such as mufflers, lights, racks, etc are installed.

Showrooms and online stores refurbish their inventory of parts and accessories which will enable enthusiastic owners to customize their vehicles. Whether one owns one of the most popular pickups and cars from American manufacturers such as Ford, GM, Chrysler, Jeep, etc or imported cars such as Mazda, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, or Toyota; they all make a beeline to online parts and accessories stores to get their preferred items to dress up, modify or upgrade their loved set of wheels.

Some people prefer to modify their vehicles under the hood and work on enhancing the engine performance, maybe install new exhaust systems and get the preferred sound. Others prefer to make their cars look better by installing custom front bumpers, grilles, hood, side windows, truck rack, truck beds, tailgates, seats, etc.

In this jungle of automobile accessories there are few top brands that enthusiasts look for. Brands such as Access, Weathertech, Westin, TruXedo and others are more popular than others.

The best incentive of online shopping is always the cheaper price. Stores such as RealTruck.com provide a low price guarantee.

Looking for a used car? Look no further!!!

Buying a used cars can be quite difficult, considering how dealers try to manipulate the prices, conceal the records etc. I recently came across an automobile portal on the internet which offers a completely different perspective to car sales. The site focuses on used cars, new cars, leasing and research. The unique features of this site is that you can search cars, research cars, ask questions, compare prices from various dealers, read car reviews and do a whole lot of other stuff related to cars. There is an entire section on insurance and maintenance too. In this era of websites and car dealerships which focus entirely on selling and buying here is a different portal which provides a low down on the whole gamut of things. If you are in the market for a car, used or new check it out before you sign the dotted line.

Reliable Auto Repair in Carona

When I was in India, I learned about the three basic necessities for life: Food, Clothing and Shelter. I moved to the US a little over 18 months ago and in this country there are four basic necessities for life: food, clothing, shelter and a car. Yes if one has to live in the US, owning a car is definitely a basic need.

Owning a car is not simple, one has to care for and maintain the vehicle in good running condition. Identifying and establishing rapport with a reliable auto body shop corona is critical to car ownership. There are large networks of reliable collision repair experts across the US. But you can know who is good only through the ratings and testimonials of their customers. The first thing to do while looking for an auto body shop is to ask friends and family. Their referrals will help you identify the right shop for you to get your car cared for.

Sourcing Parts for my cars!

Since moving to US about 18 months ago I have been learning a lot of new stuff. I have learned that one has to do his own job here because labor is very expensive. Another important part of shopping for anything in the us is to look for the same product in multiple locations, to make sure you are not being ripped off.

One area where I was not doing this much is when buying auto parts. I would let the repair guys take care of it. But recently I got top-dollar repair estimate. I decided that I need to check out if the parts they are quoting for really cost so much. I just got online and searched.

I found a website known as GreatAutoParts.com where one could buy almost every part of the car and being an online entity the prices are great too. The exhaustive parts catalog is easy to use and it takes only a few minutes to find what you are looking for. Curiosity helped me find a wonderful new resource and saved me lots of $$$s. Unfortunately I didn't do this earlier, I wish I had. It would have saved me much more.

So if you are in the market for auto parts, don't let the dealer decide. Take matters in your own hand and visit Great Auto Parts website. You may be surprised by what you find.

Guaranteed Car Repairs

During the past year and a half in the US I have come to realize one thing. It is near impossible to live in this country without a car. Public transport facilities are abysmal and even the poorest sections of the population have a car. Anyway cars come with their own costs and problems. One of the main issues with owning a car is its maintenance and god forbid if you get into an accident.

Getting a real good autobody shop to restore your car to its gleaming best and guarantee the repairs is probably tough to find. The internet perhaps is the answer, everyone searches for an answer on it. The internet is where you can find America's best autobody shops. The auto body shop yorba linda offers guaranteed repairs for life, all the body work, paint work and engine work will be done here to your complete satisfaction. What more would you possibly want? Oh! Yes, are these shops insurance approved? Is it possible to run a successful autobody shop without getting insurance company approval? Quite impossible.

So be rest assured if are in Yorba Linda, CA the best autobody shops are found online just visit the website and find the nearest auto body shop yorba linda.

Involved in an Auto Accident? Find solutions here!!!

In most parts of the US it is possible to live without legs but not without a set of wheels. Therefore it is not surprising that this country consumes 40 percent of the world's fuel and accounts to nearly 30 percent of all the green house emissions.

Quite naturally automobile maintenance and repairs is a big business in the US. But like all other places there are good places and there are bad places and finding a good place without burning fingers is the key here. Suppose you are in Colorado, the mountain state of the US, where keeping your automobile in top running condition is vitally important. How would you find auto body shops denver, that is good and that is in location convenient to you? The simplest way to do that is to visit the Collision Repair Experts online directory.

This website is perhaps the best online directory and the simplest to use too. The site offers you facilities to search by zip code, city name or even by state and city. The best part of this website is that they don't list every shop in the area, only those that meet stringent listing requirements are listed on this site. So when you visit a shop from this website you can be assured that they meet all the requirements. One of the requirements is the customer satisfaction index, a least rating of 95 % is required to be listed here.

Hilarious Joke :) :) :D

The New Lexus
I bought a new Lexus 455l xs but returned to the dealer the next day complaining that I couldn't figure out how the radio worked. The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.

'Watch this!', he said, 'Nelson!' The Radio replied, 'Ricky Nelson or Willie Nelson?'
'Willie!', he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.

Then he said, 'Kishore!', and in an instant 'Yeh Shaam Mastani' replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, 'Shastriya Sangeet,' I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said, 'Lata,' I'd get one of her awesome songs.

Yesterday, a couple jumped a red light and nearly creamed my new car, but I swerved in time to avoid them. I yelled, 'Arse Holes!'

Immediately the Pakistani National Anthem began to play, sung by Asif Zardari, Mian Sharif, backed by Musharaff and The PPP Party, with Imran Khan on guitar, Farzana Raja on drums, Shah Mahmood Qureshi on harmonica, Judge Chowhury on tambourine, George Bush on sax and Sherry Rehman on scotch...!

Damn, now I LOVE this car

Fancy Auto from TVS

TVS Motor Company, Hosur, India has been in the forefront of the two-wheeler revolution in India. They were the first to introduce the small 50 cc moped into the market and since then they have grown from strength to strength and today TVS is a force to reckon in the Indian two-wheeler market. TVS is also the first motorcycle manufacturer in India to release the first 100% indigenous bike - TVS Victor and then the next TVS Apache came out with a bang giving all the Indo-Japanese motorcycles a run for their money.

Now TVS is foraying into a new arena... manufacturing three-wheeled auto rickshaws. Looking at the pictures of their proposed model it is quite clear that TVS will revolutionize the auto-rickshaw market and force Bajaj to upgrade their pathetic autos. One of my friends was saying that he wouldn't buy a car if these kind of autos were available in the market. I wonder what you would say after taking a look... truly global standard quality.

Project Car

When cars were first conceived not all of them had 4 wheels, some of them were like autorickshaws... had only three wheels. One of my friends' friend in Australia had this inspiration to build a 3-wheeler replica of the 1885 Daimler. The car looks fabulous and took over 2 years to build.

Here are pictures of a 3-wheeler car recreated by a enterprising automobile lover in Australia. I received the pics from a friend of mine who knows the builder of this unique car. Indeed this machine looks fantastically beautiful.

Power Steering: One of the most important parts of your car

Most of the cars available in today's market come equipped with Power steering which makes driving very easy by reducing steering effort. How does the power steering system work? And how does it derive power? Writing about this will take a little complicated explanation. To put it in one line I would say "Power steering using an external power source to assist in turning the roadwheels and makes it easy on the driver".

According to Wikipedia, power steering was invented in the 1920s by Klara Gailis and George Jessup in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA. But they didn't patent the technology and in 1932 Francis W. Davis patented this in the US. But it was only in 1951 that Chrysler Corporation introduced the first commercially available power steering system on its 1951 Chrysler Imperial under the name Hydraguide.

Let us come back to knowing about the basic parts of a power steering system. The basic parts of a power steering system includes a steering rack and steering box. These two parts functioning properly will ensure your car running smoothly. But then these parts are subject to wear and tear and you will need to buy new parts to replace and rejuvenate the system.

There is a brand new online store which has all the power steering rack parts you need. They offer full warranty and free shipping on all orders. The array of parts is simply amazing and every product is passed through the most stringent quality tests before putting it up for sale. Especially the steering box and steering rack. There are other parts of the steering system including the rack and pinion, rack and pinion assemblies, rack and pinion units or gearbox. If you take good care of these parts, the car will never give up on you.

This is one store to buy all the parts of steering systems such as racks and boxes at affordable prices. These parts are the same high quality ones as the dealers use and there is no compromise on quality. But price yes, you get better rates than at dealerships and you get free shipping too. There are moder technologies such as Magna Steer, Servotronic, Speed Proportional Steering, Variable Assist and the resurgence of the Center Steer design. All these systems use racks and boxes but each with an highly evolved design and high technology components. You just need to visit the online store of Power Steering Pros and you will get all the parts.
