It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. I agree... but the blabbermouth I am... I was compelled to add a few words to the picture... wonder how it looks and whether it reads alright.

Is it a miracle that I can perfectly empathise with your poem, every single line? I'm on my late teens, almost 18 in fact, and I've felt these exact same things. Just never been able to express them in words. I always felt it to be a daunting task, but you did it, and hats off :) :D
